Apple’s AI suite, Apple Intelligence, is breaking out of its U.S. English bubble. Starting in April, it will support French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese, plus localized English for India and Singapore.

That’s a big leap from its initial launch, which only supported U.S. English. In December, Apple added more English localizations, but there was still no sign of wider global support. And even with this update, Apple Intelligence won’t be making its way to the EU or Mainland China—at least, not yet.

But Apple isn’t stopping there. Siri is getting a serious upgrade, too, with a new version that understands on-screen context. Tim Cook says it’ll roll out “over the next several months.” Could this be the Siri upgrade we’ve been waiting for? Or will it still fall short of expectations?
