Epson Earns Platinum Recognition For Esg Excellence

Epson Corporation, a global leader in technology, has demonstrated its steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability and ethical manufacturing by earning Platinum Recognition under the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Validated Assessment Program (VAP).
This prestigious accolade was awarded to two of its production facilities—Epson Precision (Philippines), Inc. (EPPI) and Epson Precision Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (EPMY).
The recognition comes as a result of rigorous audits conducted by independent RBA-approved firms. These assessments evaluate compliance with the RBA Code of Conduct across key areas, including labor practices, environmental standards, health and safety, and ethical operations.
A Platinum rating, the highest level of recognition, requires a perfect VAP score of 200 and the resolution of all findings.
Since joining the RBA in 2019, Epson has integrated corporate social responsibility (CSR) into its global supply chain practices, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of ethical and sustainable manufacturing.
Epson has achieved similar successes at other production sites in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, and the Philippines, further solidifying its leadership in ESG initiatives.

As Epson invests Ksh.83 billion to bolster environmental sustainability, this milestone underscores its mission to build a greener, equitable world through responsible manufacturing.
