IOS is pulling up to the multi-account game on WhatsApp almost 2 years late. Yes, WhatsApp is testing a new feature that allows iOS users to manage multiple accounts within a single app. This functionality, previously available only to Android, enables users to switch between personal and business accounts seamlessly on the same device.

In the latest beta version (25.2.10.70) for iOS, users can add a new account either by setting it up as a primary account or by scanning a QR code to link it as a "companion" account. Each account maintains its own notifications, chats, backups, and settings, ensuring distinct separation between them. This development eliminates the need for separate devices or the use of the WhatsApp Business app to manage multiple accounts.

While this feature is currently in beta testing, it is expected to roll out to all iOS users in the coming months, enhancing the flexibility and convenience of managing multiple WhatsApp accounts on a single iPhone
